The Sequence Project: Bombadil Logo Redesign

Bombadil- an old English word meaning "very ancient." Old Norse for "(belonging to) ancient (days)."

Every creative field requires that artists are able to make sequential works, weather this means a series of images that have a similar subject matter or a series of works that will ultimately make a statement on one particular subject.

For this project I was asked to take an idea, concept or aesthetic principle and explore it in a series of three related artworks. Chose to address a redesign of a store logo that I am personally familiar with. Bombadil is a otherworldly plant store located on Farnsworth Ave. in Bordentown NJ. I wanted to take their current logo and try to reformat into three new designs with varying success.
